About the Specialist, Contracts Role
alfanar is seeking a Specialist, Contracts to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on supporting the drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of contracts to ensure compliance with organizational policies and effective contract lifecycle management.
Core Responsibilities
The Specialist, Contracts will be instrumental in managing various aspects of the contract process. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the drafting, reviewing, and revising of standard contracts and agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather necessary inputs and documentation for contract preparation.
- Reviewing contract terms and conditions and supporting negotiations in alignment with organizational policies.
- Contributing to the achievement of balanced and compliant agreements while fostering effective external relationships.
- Managing contract stages from initiation through execution, monitoring, renewal, and closure.
- Maintaining contract records and contributing to the improvement of contract management processes.
Role Accountabilities and Performance
This role demands a proactive approach to performance and problem-solving. Accountabilities include:
- Continuously developing and obtaining updated soft and technical skills relevant to the contract specialist role.
- Performing planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.
- Utilizing resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
- Providing periodic reports detailing deviations and the execution of planned tasks.
- Identifying and solving related problems, escalating complex operational issues as needed.
- Ensuring quality requirements are met by developing effective quality control processes and specifications.
- Coordinating well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, and identifying opportunities for automation.
- Complying with all related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Adhering to relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:
- Experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in a contracts-related field.
- Proficiency in contract drafting, review, negotiation, and administration.
- Understanding of organizational policies and contract lifecycle management principles.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.
