Sr. Structural Engineer

About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a highly experienced professional with a strong background in structural engineering, construction, and infrastructure projects, particularly within engineering consultancy firms. The role involves leading and overseeing structural engineering activities and ensuring compliance with project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee structural engineering activities across construction and infrastructure projects.
• Review structural designs, drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Ensure structural works comply with approved designs, project specifications, and relevant standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor structural construction activities.
• Review and approve method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings.
• Monitor quality and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the structural engineering team.
• Identify and resolve structural design and construction issues.
• Prepare technical reports and provide recommendations to project management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, construction, and infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience working with engineering consultancy firms.
• Demonstrated capability in managing structural design, site activities, and technical coordination.

Work Environment
