About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Sr. Lead - DC & Passive Design to join its team in Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires over 10 years of experience and will involve leading the design and implementation of data centers and passive systems for Qiddiya's diverse projects.

Role Overview

In this senior role, you will be instrumental in shaping the infrastructure of a world-class entertainment and cultural destination. Your expertise will guide the development of sustainable and efficient systems, ensuring alignment with project objectives and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of data center (DC) architectures, focusing on reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Oversee the design of passive systems, including HVAC, electrical, and structural components, ensuring they meet project goals and industry standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop design solutions that address user needs and sustainability objectives.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to support design decision-making.
• Establish and maintain design protocols and standards to ensure quality and consistency across projects.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure timely delivery of all components.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers, promoting professional development and continuous improvement.
• Stay informed about technological advancements and industry trends to drive innovation within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in data center design and passive systems engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading complex design projects from inception to completion.
• Strong technical understanding of data center architecture, passive design principles, and sustainability practices.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering tools.
• Professional certifications such as LEED, PMP, or RCDD are preferred.
