The Role: Sr. Manager – Project Controls

As a strategic partner to the Project Director on very-high-value mega-projects, the Sr. Manager – Project Controls provides expert leadership and strategic management for the integrated Project Controls function. This full-time role is accountable for the integrity and defense of the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) across multiple complex work packages, ensuring project control systems serve as predictive instruments for successful delivery.

Strategic Leadership in Project Controls

The Sr. Manager – Project Controls leads the strategy for complex Extension of Time (EoT) claims, provides expert internal and external stakeholder diplomacy, and drives the continuous improvement of project-level control standards and risk governance to safeguard the company’s financial and contractual position. This role encompasses critical oversight in both project risk and financial management.

Strategic Project Risk Oversight

• Oversee the project-level risk function to ensure identification and mitigation activities are strictly aligned with the Project Business Plan.
• Ensure mitigation strategies are embedded in the construction sequence to safeguard the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and business performance.

High-Fidelity Financial Control

• Direct the production of executive-level cost reports and quarterly Estimate At Completion (EAC) updates.
• Own the integrity of the Value of Work Done (VOWD/CWIP) measurements.
• Ensure actionable insights are provided to senior management for high-stakes financial decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience leading project controls on at least two projects with a contract value exceeding SAR 4 billion.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project controls.
