We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Sterilization Technician to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly decontaminated, sterilized, and prepared for use in our clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Decontamination: Receive, sort, and inspect used surgical instruments and equipment; clean instruments manually and operate decontamination equipment.
  • Preparation and Packaging: Assemble surgical sets and package instruments for sterilization following established protocols.
  • Sterilization: Operate sterilizers, monitor sterilization cycles, and perform routine tests for effectiveness.
  • Storage and Distribution: Store sterilized items properly and distribute them to various departments as required.
  • Quality Control and Safety: Follow infection control protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and maintain accurate records.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on sterilization techniques and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as a certified sterilization technician.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Health Science or a similar discipline.
  • Certification in sterile processing is required.
