About the Role

Saudi Diyar Consultants is seeking a qualified Structural Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves the comprehensive design, analysis, review, and supervision of structural engineering works across various construction projects.

Core Responsibilities

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all structural designs and site activities adhere strictly to project specifications, approved drawings, applicable codes, quality standards, and safety regulations. Key duties include performing structural calculations and analysis, reviewing design documents and shop drawings, and supervising site execution to ensure alignment with approved designs. The role also requires coordination with multidisciplinary teams, supporting construction activities, and resolving technical issues. Preparation of technical reports and ensuring the structural integrity and safety of the project throughout all phases are also critical aspects of this position.

Key Duties and Tasks

• Design, analysis, review, and supervision of structural engineering works for construction projects, including reinforced concrete, steel structures, foundations, and other structural systems.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable codes, quality standards, and safety regulations for all structural designs and site activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be a Saudi National.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 to 12 years of professional experience in structural engineering and site supervision within the construction or engineering consulting industry.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete design, structural steel design, foundations, and structural analysis.
• Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC), ACI, AISC, ASTM, and other relevant structural codes and standards.
• Proven experience in structural design, reviewing shop drawings, technical submittals, and construction documents.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise site execution and provide technical direction to contractors and site teams.
• Proficiency in structural engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, ******, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Good command of English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and engineering excellence.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires direct supervision and interaction within project sites.
