About the Structural Inspector Role

Saudi Diyar Consultants is seeking a full-time Structural Inspector for an on-site position in Riyadh. This role is integral to ensuring the quality and integrity of structural works on construction projects.

Core Responsibilities

The Structural Inspector will be responsible for the thorough inspection and supervision of all structural construction activities. This includes, but is not limited to, reinforced concrete elements, steel structures, and foundation systems. The primary objective is to ensure that all work is executed safely, accurately, and in strict adherence to approved project methodologies and specifications.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

A key function of this role is to verify that all structural construction activities comply with project specifications, approved engineering drawings, established quality standards, and all applicable local and international building codes and regulations. This involves meticulous review and verification at various stages of the construction process.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Professional experience ranging from 7 to 9 years specifically in structural inspection and site supervision within the construction or engineering consulting sectors.
• Demonstrated knowledge of reinforced concrete works, structural steel construction, foundation systems, formwork, and general structural construction practices.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, including the Saudi Building Code (SBC), ACI, and ASTM.
• Proven experience in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and processing inspection requests (IRs).
• Experience supervising contractors and site personnel to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
• Proficiency in quality control procedures, concrete testing, steel inspections, and general site supervision.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and inspection reporting tools.
