About the Role

W Hotels in Riyadh is seeking a dedicated Supervisor Beverage for a contract position. This role is central to overseeing beverage operations, ensuring high standards of service, and supporting the team to deliver an exceptional guest experience in a dynamic environment.

Operational Responsibilities

• Inspect staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies to maintain professional standards.
• Communicate effectively with guests, employees, and other departments to ensure all guest needs are met.
• Monitor dining areas to ensure optimal seating availability, high-quality service, and the safety and well-being of guests.
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs as required.
• Conduct scheduled inventories of supplies, food, and liquor, and requisition necessary items to maintain stock levels.
• Obtain and manage the assigned cash bank, ensuring accuracy of contracted monies, securing necessary change, and keeping the bank secure at all times.
• Communicate last call at designated closing times.
• Ensure adherence to all quality expectations and service standards.

Team Leadership and Development

• Assist management with various human resources functions including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in achieving common goals.
• Ensure staff are working together effectively as a cohesive team.
• Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Supervisory Experience: A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Certifications: No specific license or certification is required for this role.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Capability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or for an entire work shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Capability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Ability to move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Capacity to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Willingness to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
