About the Head Bartender Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Train and mentor bartenders on drink preparation, customer service protocols, and upselling techniques.
• Create and update drink menus, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of necessary supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to all health and safety standards.
• Address customer complaints and issues professionally and promptly.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to offer suitable food and drink pairing options for guests.
• Implement cost-saving measures and strategies to enhance profitability.
• Conduct regular staff meetings for communication, performance review, and addressing concerns.
• Stay informed on industry trends and new drink recipes, providing recommendations to improve the bar experience for guests.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a bartender, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Extensive knowledge of various drink types, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in inventory management and cost control principles.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Ability to obtain a bartender's license in Saudi Arabia.
