About the Role
Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supervisor-Government Relation for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is integral to supporting employee relations, ensuring HR compliance, and assisting management with various human resources functions.
Key Responsibilities
The Supervisor-Government Relation will be responsible for a range of duties focused on employee welfare and adherence to company policies. This includes:
- Monitoring and tracking employee relations issues, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
- Communicating significant employee relations matters to Human Resources management.
- Responding to inquiries from employees and management regarding company and HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Disseminating information to employees concerning employer-employee relations, employee activities, and personnel policies.
- Reviewing and ensuring the accurate maintenance of all employee records and files.
- Assisting with the logistics, administration, and scheduling of annual employee surveys.
- Handling incoming phone calls and recording messages accurately.
Management Support and Compliance
This role actively supports management in employee development and operational efficiency, while upholding company standards and safety protocols. Key contributions include:
- Assisting management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees.
- Adhering to all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
- Reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions to the manager.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Professional Conduct and Communication
Maintaining a professional demeanor and effective communication is essential in this position. This involves:
- Welcoming and acknowledging guests according to company standards.
- Speaking with others using clear and professional language.
- Answering telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Supporting team efforts to achieve common goals.
- Listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this role should possess the necessary educational background and practical experience to effectively fulfill the responsibilities. The requirements include:
- A high school diploma or *** equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of related work experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Physical Demands
The role may involve some physical activity, including:
- Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
