About the Supervisor, Healthcare Operations Role

Saudi Airlines Catering Company is seeking a Supervisor, Healthcare Operations to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and involves leading catering operations within a healthcare environment. The primary objective is to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality food and service to patients, staff, and visitors, while maintaining stringent food safety and quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage the catering team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and service to patients, staff, and hospital visitors.
• Provide hands-on operational oversight, demonstrating competence across all areas of the operation.
• Conduct tray assessments for food quality, presentation, and accuracy, and monitor timely tray delivery and service completion.
• Evaluate Patient Service Experience to ensure high levels of patient and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement robust kitchen operating procedures in collaboration with the line manager.
• Ensure menu implementation aligns with dietary requirements and patient nutritional needs, including options for staff outside kitchen hours.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping and documentation for due diligence and compliance with CATRION and MOH inspections.
• Liaise with the direct manager for support at other locations and manage all required administrative tasks.
• Perform regular area reviews to ensure team members meet performance standards and contractual service agreements.
• Manage food, labor, and overhead costs to achieve budgeted profit targets.
• Cultivate client relationships through regular interaction, promptly resolving issues without compromising project profitability.
• Report equipment defects, maintenance needs, accidents, incidents, injuries, and customer complaints immediately.
• Attend company and client training courses and actively participate in safety initiatives.
• Ensure effective staff deployment through robust roster planning to meet service requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding patient, relative, staff, and team member information.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the line manager or client based on contractual deliverables, potentially across KSA.

Team Leadership and Development

• Guide, support, monitor, evaluate, and train staff members.
• Monitor and maintain high levels of conduct and work performance within the team.
• Conduct and assist in employee evaluations and appraisals according to company procedures.
• Collaborate with HR and the line manager on staff recruitment, selection, and management processes.
• Participate in periodical inspections and contribute to identifying and implementing operational improvements.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

• Ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are consistently maintained in accordance with the Quality Assurance Program.
• Verify that all safe work practices are followed by the catering team.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality standards across all operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Credentials in Health and Safety Training.
• HACCP Certification is preferred.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Strong operational background with proven ability to manage large healthcare catering operations.
• Proficiency in computer programs, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook).
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a hands-on approach to team management.
