About the Technical Support Engineer Role

alfanar is seeking a Technical Support Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves providing essential technical assistance and solutions to both customers and internal teams, ensuring the smooth operation of systems and products.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for a range of critical functions to support project execution and customer satisfaction. This includes acting as a technical liaison to resolve warranty claims, assisting with product commissioning, and maintaining accurate technical documentation.

  • Warranty Claims Support: Diagnose technical issues related to warranty claims and propose solutions under senior engineer guidance. Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams for effective claim resolution.
  • Field Commissioning Assistance: Support the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems during field commissioning. Ensure systems meet project specifications and compliance standards, and document/resolve commissioning issues.
  • Project Engineering Support: Aid project teams with technical tasks, problem-solving, and the delivery of engineering services. Assist in preparing accurate technical documentation.
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain organized records of engineering activities, including test results, warranty resolutions, and commissioning logs. Support the preparation and review of technical reports.

General Operational Duties

This role also encompasses broader responsibilities to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery. The engineer will perform planned activities to meet operational targets, utilize resources effectively, and provide periodic reports on task execution. Problem-solving is a key aspect, with the expectation to resolve issues and escalate complex operational challenges. Ensuring quality requirements are met and complying with relevant policies and procedures are also essential.
