About the Role

Saudi Airlines Catering Company is seeking a Technician, Airports Lounges to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and utilities within our airport lounges. The Technician will work closely with the Supervisor to uphold high standards of service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in overseeing staff and daily operations within the Airports Lounges.
• Implement monthly Preventive Maintenance (PM) for all equipment, facilities, and utilities to minimize breakdowns and ensure excellent operational standards.
• Execute daily work orders as assigned by the Supervisor or In-charge.
• Maintain the ambient temperature of facilities and monitor temperature readings of refrigerators and other equipment, adjusting them within allowed limits.
• Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of all working areas in accordance with company and quality control standards.
• Adhere to general, personal, and industrial safety practices in communication rooms and all working areas.
• Ensure proper utilization of sanitary and protective materials, safety gear, and other protective coverings in workshops and designated work areas.

Operational Support and Resource Management

• Advise the Supervisor on required spare parts and materials for Preventive Maintenance, repair, and renovation jobs.
• Maintain an accurate stock of tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials, initiating replenishment requests when necessary.
• Control the inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials within the assigned section.
• Observe necessary changes and assist in establishing, developing, and maintaining PM and repair procedures for equipment, facilities, and utilities.
• Ensure cost efficiency and optimum utilization of manpower, tools, spare parts, and facilities within the allocated budget framework.

Team Collaboration and Professional Development

• Maintain effective information and communication flow and foster a spirit of teamwork among section staff, providing professional support and instruction as required.
• Participate actively in team-building activities, gatherings, and meetings with colleagues.
• Contribute to the training and development of subordinates by analyzing their strengths and weaknesses.
• Suggest improvements in work methods, systems, equipment, and modifications to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in the business and industry, relating them to the section's operations.

Compliance and Safety Standards

• Adhere strictly to all Cybersecurity policies and procedures, including data handling according to classification levels.
• Comply with Cybersecurity requirements for user devices, Internet usage, software, systems, and Email.
• Avoid violating intellectual property rights protected by copyrights, patents, or similar laws.
• Adhere to the acceptable use policy, utilizing Saudi Airlines Catering Company information and technical assets solely for business purposes.
• Obtain required permits from the security department or authority owner before hosting visitors in sensitive company sites.
• Report any Cybersecurity incidents promptly.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 0-1 years of relevant experience in a technical or maintenance role.
• Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance tasks and execute work orders effectively.
• Understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
