Testing Team Leader

About the Role

Riyad Bank is seeking a Testing Team Leader to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves controlling and guiding the effective monitoring and management of data center physical infrastructure, alongside handling the timely and accurate migration of batches to support operational efficiency and employee utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures, providing instructions to subordinates and monitoring adherence.
• Execute day-to-day operations for the Product Development function, ensuring compliance with established standards.
• Provide input for departmental budget development and monitor performance against approved levels within the function.
• Control and plan accurate and effective application implementation.
• Monitor the development and modification of applications, ensuring alignment with business requests and architecture design.
• Control the accurate and compatible configuration of systems and applications by defining parameters and adjustments.
• Coordinate with vendors for quality and cost-effective application development services when internal development is not feasible.
• Monitor the efficiency and compatibility of applications in assigned business areas, performing maintenance and configuration to support business objectives.
• Oversee the resolution of complex system/application malfunctions reported by the Services Center department.
• Control development environment synchronization and code migration.
• Ensure documentation of all interventions and developments to systems and applications for effective knowledge management.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and practices, considering international best practices, cost reduction, and productivity.
• Prepare timely and accurate departmental reports to meet bank and department requirements, policies, and standards.
• Represent the function and actively contribute to internal and external committees/meetings as applicable.
• Ensure staff have clear objectives, regular performance feedback, annual appraisals, and individual development plans, with a focus on Saudi national staff development.
• Facilitate the employment, training, and development of Saudi nationals within the organization.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within Riyad Bank. The role involves working within a team dedicated to product development and solutions delivery, requiring coordination with various internal departments and external vendors.
