Treasury Specialist

About the Role

Talents Sea is seeking a Treasury Specialist to join its finance department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves supporting day-to-day treasury operations, managing banking transactions, processing payments, and executing financial reconciliations. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Core Treasury Functions

The Treasury Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely execution of various financial operations. This includes overseeing government and bank payments, managing utility expenses, and ensuring efficient banking operations through various e-services. The role demands attention to detail and adherence to established financial protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, review, and execute government payments and bank transfers, ensuring complete documentation and accurate posting in the financial system.
• Process utility payments (electricity, water, and telecommunications), reviewing transactions to analyze variances, unusual amounts, and ensure invoice accuracy.
• Follow up on banking requests, platform updates, system configurations, and electronic banking services across various portals.
• Prepare periodic reports covering payments, cash balances, and bank reconciliations, while immediately reporting any discrepancies or anomalies to management.
• Post financial transactions and journal entries accurately into the ERP system while complying with internal controls and approval workflows.
• Coordinate closely with banks, internal departments, and service providers to resolve bottlenecks and ensure timely completion of financial transactions.

Financial Control and Reporting

A critical aspect of this role involves effective coordination with external banks, internal departments, and various service providers to streamline financial processes and resolve any operational challenges. The specialist will ensure all financial transactions and reporting adhere to internal controls and established approval workflows, maintaining accuracy and transparency.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in treasury operations or a related finance role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage banking transactions and process various types of payments.
• Proficiency in financial reconciliation and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems for financial transaction posting.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and financial approval workflows.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the finance department of Talents Sea. The role requires a proactive approach to managing daily treasury tasks and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
