Cenomi Retail is seeking a dedicated Universe Manager for its Decathlon operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring the efficient operation and high standards of the Decathlon retail environment. Role Overview

The Universe Manager is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of all Universe floor activities. This includes ensuring that operations are conducted with maximum efficiency and in strict adherence to company customer service standards. A key aspect of this role involves maintaining exceptional visual merchandising and store presentation, alongside guaranteeing consistent product availability to meet customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Universe staff by preparing schedules, setting clear goals and objectives, overseeing performance, and providing training and motivation to achieve high performance levels.
• Develop and implement commercial policies, seasonal layout plans, and an annual timetable for commercial campaigns.
• Recommend price adjustments based on market benchmarking to maintain competitive positioning.
• Monitor Universe sales figures, inventory levels, and profit and loss reports, ensuring weekly and seasonal targets are met by the team.
• Continuously monitor stock levels, assist the Store Manager with regular inventories, maintain accurate inventory records, and re-order merchandise as needed to ensure adequate stock and maximum range and size availability.
• Greet customers and ensure timely service by shop staff, adhering to quality and customer service standards.
• Develop and maintain a calendar for shop events, communicate it to the team for smooth execution, and supervise the promotion of events and promotions to customers via social media.
• Communicate with wholesale customers to address their needs promptly and liaise with local sports clubs to enhance brand awareness and boost sales.
• Perform additional operational activities, including controlling shipment reception, communicating with local suppliers, negotiating prices, and reporting operational issues.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of proven experience in retail management or a similar operational oversight role, preferably within a sports retail or large-format store environment. A strong understanding of retail operations, visual merchandising, inventory management, and customer service is essential.
