Role Overview: Warehouse General Manager

Abdul Latif Jameel is seeking a Warehouse General Manager for a full-time position in Riyadh or Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for overseeing the warehouse operations to ensure a continuous supply of parts at the right time, place, and quantity, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and a safe working environment at the Central Parts Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the implementation of the Toyota Production System (TPS) within warehouse operations to ensure continuous parts supply and improve business productivity.
• Implement the department's strategic and annual action plans, and formulate the department budget to support and reduce operational costs.
• Coordinate with the Inventory Department to ensure timely receipt of supplies and monitor stock levels and stock-taking procedures.
• Oversee knowledge transfer to warehouse associates and implement succession plans to enhance associate satisfaction and productivity.
• Collaborate with the ESSR Department to maintain warehouse safety and ensure the security of stock.
• Coordinate with Sales & Marketing departments for sales campaigns and other joint activities to improve sales performance.
• Develop, control, and monitor resource skill mix to manage fluctuations in job mix with minimal downtime, ensuring optimal flow of manpower, vehicles, parts, and documents.
• Monitor section KPIs, set new targets, and control operational costs in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage warehouse operations effectively.
• Experience in implementing production systems such as TPS is preferred.
