About the Role

ASAS for Developing & Operating Industrial Cities is seeking a System Operations & Compliance Specialist to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on ensuring the safety and stability of operational systems through continuous technical monitoring and compliance verification.

Purpose of the Position

The primary objective of this role is to guarantee the safety and stability of system operational processes. This involves continuous technical monitoring, verifying adherence to approved procedures and policies, and identifying any incorrect practices or operational/security breaches. The specialist will also conduct manual reviews and technical analyses using databases, queries, and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all operations and procedures executed within the company's internal systems daily.
• Verify that requests and workflows proceed according to approved procedures and policies.
• Follow up on critical operations and ensure there are no breaches or circumventions of systematic stages.
• Review operational requests and cases, ensuring their alignment with business controls.
• Monitor manual and exceptional operations, confirming the presence of required approvals.
• Track scheduled operations and system integrations, verifying their successful completion.
• Execute SQL queries and direct database analyses to detect abnormal operations or unusual modifications.
• Analyze system logs, integration logs, and operational errors.
• Generate periodic oversight and operational reports for management and operational teams.
• Review user permissions and identify any improper use of privileges.
• Verify the application of the Segregation of Duties (SoD) principle.
• Detect any attempts to bypass procedures or manipulate workflows.
• Support cybersecurity and governance teams in investigations and technical analyses when needed.
• Propose operational and technical improvements to reduce errors and manual intervention.
• Improve data quality and minimize misleading or incomplete data.
• Collaborate with operations, development, governance, and infrastructure teams to ensure operational stability.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Experience in data analysis, querying, and report generation.
• Strong knowledge of operational process management and technical oversight.
