About the Role

The Farabi Medical Group is looking for an experienced Fixed Assets Accountant to join its finance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role plays a pivotal part in managing the fixed asset lifecycle within the organization, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

Fixed Assets Accountant Responsibilities

The Fixed Assets Accountant is responsible for the entire fixed asset accounting cycle, from initial recording to final disposal. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining the accuracy of financial data and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting principles within a structured and large-scale corporate environment.

• Monitor and record the complete fixed asset lifecycle.
• Prepare monthly and annual fixed asset disposal reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and reconcile with external auditors and the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (a must).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in fixed assets accounting.
• Previous experience in the healthcare sector or large corporations (a must).

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
