Jayasom Wellness Resort Amaala, opening in 2026 in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, is an immersive retreat developed in partnership with Red Sea Global (RSG). Situated at Triple Bay, AMAALA, the resort is dedicated to deep healing, conscious living, and meaningful connection. It offers purpose-driven hospitality rooted in holistic health, integrative medicine, and soulful care, providing tailored journeys that blend Western science with complementary therapies, from physiotherapy and nutrition to spa treatments and traditional healing practices.

The Role: Assistant Reservations Manager

The Assistant Reservations Manager will play a pivotal role in translating Jayasomโ€™s strategic vision into actionable reservations programs. This full-time position involves developing activities, establishing operational policies, and maximizing revenue opportunities through effective yield management. The role is central to increasing brand awareness and promoting the resortโ€™s services to both local and international markets, while upholding Jayasomโ€™s wellness and sustainability culture.

Key Operational Responsibilities

  • Oversee the setup and daily operations of the reservations department to achieve established goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts to meet organizational targets.
  • Manage the reservations operating budgets and enhance processes to optimize performance.
  • Analyze historical and current business trends, pace reports, and lead logs to inform strategy, rate decisions, and identify sales opportunities.
  • Translate industry and market trends into revenue programs that provide value to guests and drive profitability.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting for all market segments and identify periods for targeted sales emphasis.
  • Lead discussions to maximize property revenue streams and ensure high levels of profitability.
  • Represent Jayasom Amaala at industry trade shows and events, and assist with client relations and deal closures.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports to track volume, potential sales, and client base expansion.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market situations to inform business development strategies.
  • Ensure all sales activities are conducted ethically and align with cultural standards.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Proactively participate in the selection, training, and development of an effective Reservations team.
  • Lead the team by example, providing a common vision, empowering members, and fostering opportunities for idea sharing and decision-making.
  • Assign responsibilities, provide necessary support, and ensure tasks are completed within deadlines to achieve company objectives.
  • Ensure team members fully understand their roles, responsibilities, and company expectations.
  • Provide regular performance feedback, coaching, and counselling sessions as needed.
  • Encourage team participation in meetings, trainings, committees, and community relations activities.
  • Recognize team contributions and celebrate successes to foster a positive work environment.

Guest Experience and Service Excellence

  • Handle guest requests during their stay, ensuring all requests are followed up on promptly.
  • Follow up on guest itineraries and ensure clear communication between guests and relevant departments.
  • Supervise and manage departmental correspondence efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with guests to ensure 100% satisfaction.
  • Assist the Head of Guest Experiences in delivering outstanding guest experiences from pre-arrival to post-departure.
  • Liaise with Resort caretakers to ensure rooms are prepared, amenities are placed, and welcome letters are sent before guest arrival.
  • Coordinate VIP arrivals, ensuring guests are welcomed and escorted to their rooms.
  • Handle all guest queries and complaints promptly, courteously, and professionally, maintaining records of actions taken.
  • Coordinate with all resort departments to ensure the highest level of service quality and smooth operations.
  • Contribute to resort profitability by assisting in managing occupancy levels and setting room rates.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Assistant Reservations Manager position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
