About the Role
Alghad College for Applied Medical Sciences, a private educational institution in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an English Teacher for its Tabuk campus. The college focuses on meeting the demand for qualified national talent in the healthcare sector and offers accredited Bachelor's programs. This full-time position contributes to the college's mission of delivering high-quality education.
The English Teacher will provide engaging instruction to students, aiming to develop their English language proficiency. This role requires a commitment to the college's vision and mission, active participation in academic activities, and continuous development of teaching methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation of the college's vision and mission.
- Implement educational and training programs in accordance with the study plan and prescribed academic quorum.
- Teach assigned courses according to established academic shares.
- Conduct practical exercises and lessons as prescribed by the system.
- Manage all aspects of course examinations, including question setting, correction, review, and auditing.
- Convey the latest developments in English language and applied linguistics to students.
- Contribute to the development of college programs and work procedures.
- Participate in departmental councils, committees, college activities, and scientific research programs.
- Attend and actively participate in department council sessions, voting on decisions and recommendations.
- Undertake assigned tasks from the department council within the framework of regulations and rules.
- Maintain order and discipline in classrooms and laboratories.
- Fulfill entrusted duties in scientific research, academic advising, and other administrative or academic work, in addition to the prescribed teaching load.
- Contribute effectively to conducting scientific research within the specialization.
- Perform required quality assurance tasks and prepare necessary reports for academic courses.
- Foster a spirit of constructive competition among students, encouraging innovation and creativity.
- Participate in departmental and college committees.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports as required by the college or scientific departments.
- Uphold the reputation of the college and its property, maintaining order and student safety.
- Demonstrate dedication to work within the college.
- Comply with all regulations, laws, bylaws, and instructions in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, ensuring adherence to religious principles and non-interference in politics.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A degree specific to the specialty from Saudi universities or universities recommended by the Ministry of Education, with proof of equivalency from the Ministry of Education attached if applicable.
- For lecturer and faculty positions, there must be an extension of the specialty.
- A minimum grade of "Good" or higher in the bachelor's degree is required.
- All university qualifications must have been obtained on a full-time basis.
- Successful completion of a personal interview is mandatory.
- For applicants with a Master's degree in English (Applied Linguistics, TESOL, TESL, TEFL, Linguistics, English Literature), a minimum of two years of experience in education or training is required.
- For applicants with a Bachelor's degree in English Language, a CELTA certificate and a minimum of five years of experience in education or training are required.

- Proficiency in developing teaching materials.

- Ability to prepare students for teaching at the appropriate level.
Work Environment and Application
This is a full-time, one-year contract position based at the Tabuk campus of Alghad College for Applied Medical Sciences. The working hours are 48 hours per week. Salaries and benefits will be determined upon successful completion of the interview process.
