The F&B Supervisor Role

As an F&B Supervisor at SLS The Red Sea, you will lead the day-to-day operations of a Food & Beverage outlet. This full-time position involves ensuring seamless service delivery and creating engaging guest experiences that align with SLS standards. You will work closely with the F&B leadership team, providing on-the-floor leadership, coaching, and support to the service team, while also serving as a key link between service and culinary operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily outlet operations, ensuring adherence to SLS brand standards.
• Assume ownership of the outlet during shifts in the absence of senior management, overseeing service flow and guest engagement.
• Ensure the outlet is clean, properly set up, and prepared for operation before and throughout service.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings, assign stations, and communicate service priorities to the team.
• Lead by example on the floor, delivering attentive and professional service.
• Engage with guests, build rapport, recognize preferences, and deliver personalized experiences.
• Monitor guest satisfaction in real time, respond to feedback, and address service gaps proactively.
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to the service team to maintain high performance and service standards.
• Deliver on-the-job training and support the onboarding and development of new team members.
• Ensure all colleagues comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), grooming standards, hygiene practices, and behavioral guidelines.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration between service, culinary, and wider F&B teams for seamless service.
• Promote upselling and suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest experience and support revenue.
• Monitor POS entries, voids, and transactions, ensuring accurate handling according to company procedures.
• Support stock control, par-level monitoring, inventory checks, and stocktaking to minimize wastage and maintain cost control.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, hygiene, food safety, and HACCP requirements.
• Assist management with staff scheduling, duty rosters, shift reports, incident logs, and other operational documentation.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment aligned with SLS The Red Sea's values.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant Food & Beverage supervisory role. The role requires strong leadership abilities, a hands-on approach to operations, and a commitment to maintaining high service standards. Experience in guest engagement, team coaching, and operational oversight within a luxury hospitality setting is essential.
