Raffles Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Guest Relation Supervisor for Raffles The Red Sea, a new luxury destination located in the Tabuk region of Saudi Arabia, specifically in Umluj and Tabuk. This full-time position is integral to delivering refined and personalized service to guests within a nature-focused resort setting.

Role Context and Responsibilities

The Guest Relation Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This involves leading by example in providing anticipatory and personalized service, recognizing VIPs and repeat guests, and acting as the primary point of contact for guest concerns, ensuring swift and effective resolution. The role also encompasses overseeing service recovery with empathy and authority to maintain guest confidence and loyalty.

Team Supervision and Development

Supervision of daily operations for Guest Relations Hosts is a core responsibility, ensuring staffing levels and service standards are consistently met. The role includes coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members to uphold Raffles' service culture and etiquette. Providing on-the-job training, performance feedback, and support for service excellence, as well as assisting with performance evaluations and identifying training needs, are also key aspects of this position.

Guest Experience Management

This role involves overseeing VIP arrival, in-house, and departure arrangements, ensuring all guest preferences are accurately met. Close coordination with departments such as Concierge, Butler Service, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage is required to execute bespoke guest experiences. Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders is essential for seamless service delivery. Accurate documentation of guest preferences, feedback, and service recovery actions in hotel systems is also a key operational duty.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Guest Relations, Front Office, or Guest Experience roles within a luxury or five-star hotel environment. Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is required. A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred. Experience with property management systems, such as Opera, is considered an advantage. Experience in pre-opening phases is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Skills and Attributes

Essential skills include strong leadership and coaching abilities, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and high emotional intelligence and cultural awareness. Proven service recovery and problem-solving expertise, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, are necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel systems is required. Fluency in English is mandatory, with additional languages being highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have a polished, confident, and professional presence, remaining calm and decisive under pressure, with a passion for luxury hospitality and guest satisfaction. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, is expected.
