Al Rashed Food Company is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assistant Accountant to be a part of our thriving finance team. This position is essential for managing tasks related to banking, petty cash, and supporting our Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bank-Related Matters: Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements, monitor bank accounts, process payments, and assist in cash flow management.
  • Petty Cash Management: Handle petty cash transactions, ensure accuracy in records, and perform reconciliations.
  • Invoice Monitoring (AP & AR): Assist in the processing of invoices, monitor receivables, and support the preparation of financial statements.
  • General Accounting Support: Maintain accurate records, prepare journal entries, and assist in closing procedures.
  • Other Administrative Tasks: Maintain filing systems and assist with ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualifications:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Requirements
Minimum 6 years of sales experience, preferably in luxury goods, corporate gifting, hospitality, or high-end consumer products. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong existing client network within relevant sectors. Energetic, dynamic, and solutions-oriented personality with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM system experience preferred.
