Compliance Analyst

About the Role

stc is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support the Carrier & Wholesale Unit's compliance activities. This full-time role involves acting as a coordination point between the Carrier & Wholesale Unit and Corporate Regulatory & Compliance functions, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and internal/external compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience.

Role Purpose

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the assessment, monitoring, tracking, and reporting of compliance requirements and findings. This includes coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely closure of identified compliance gaps and performing duties in accordance with stipulated business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stc Corporate Regulatory & Compliance functions and Carrier & Wholesale stakeholders regarding applicable internal and external compliance requirements.
• Support regular reporting of Carrier & Wholesale compliance activities, findings, and non-compliance issues related to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and internal requirements.
• Collaborate with Corporate Ethics & Compliance to provide required inputs, information, and reports for the annual compliance plan and assessment activities related to Carrier & Wholesale.
• Support the identification of compliance gaps and coordinate with relevant owners in developing corrective actions and mitigation plans for policies, procedures, processes, frameworks, and systems.
• Log, maintain, monitor, and track reported or identified compliance findings, and follow up with relevant owners to ensure timely closure.
• Prepare periodic compliance status reports and escalate overdue or significant compliance matters to the line manager and relevant compliance functions.
• Coordinate requirements and regulations received from Corporate Regulatory & Compliance with concerned departments and functions within Carrier & Wholesale.
• Review new compliance requirements and regulations to assess their relevance and applicability to the Carrier & Wholesale Unit.
• Support the review of regulatory requirements and upcoming regulations from a Carrier & Wholesale perspective by coordinating with relevant owners and Regulatory Affairs stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and assessment sessions with relevant stakeholders to collect inputs, clarify compliance requirements, and monitor required actions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of compliance requirements, assessments, findings, corrective actions, mitigation plans, and closure evidence.
• Support compliance awareness and communication activities across Carrier & Wholesale to promote adherence to applicable policies, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Perform other responsibilities and tasks related to the job as directed by the line manager.
