Polisher/Painter

About the Role

St. Regis is seeking a Polisher/Painter to join their team. This full-time role involves responding to and resolving guest repair requests, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and address guest repair requests promptly.
• Communicate effectively with guests and customers to resolve maintenance issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines for proper function.
• Transport necessary equipment, such as tools and radios.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment.
• Manage maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Record information for unfinished calls before shift changes.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete required safety training and certifications, and properly store flammable materials.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, ensuring confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
• Foster positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Communicate professionally and clearly.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Navigate stairs, service ramps, and ladders.
• Perform tasks requiring reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Execute other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is preferred.
• Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License or Certification: None specified.
