This position is offered on behalf of a partner company that manages all applications and next steps. The partner company is looking for a Product Manager - Financial Operations to be based in Saudi Arabia. This role is pivotal to the global payments infrastructure, with a focus on the development and evolution of systems that enable merchants to understand, control, and optimize their financial operations at scale.

Your decisions will directly impact how merchants conduct financial transactions across different markets and currencies. This is a high-ownership role where clarity, precision, and accountability are paramount.

Key Tasks

  • Identify and articulate the most critical problems to solve by synthesizing merchant feedback, support data, operational challenges, and system constraints.
  • Independently prioritize and define initiatives, making informed trade-offs between scope, quality, technical debt, and delivery timelines.
  • Develop clear and detailed product specifications that accurately account for complex edge cases, including settlement cut-offs, dispute resolution workflows, and FX scenarios.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to assess feasibility, navigate technical trade-offs, and define key success metrics, including leading and lagging indicators.
  • Lead end-to-end product delivery, ensuring launch readiness, stakeholder alignment, and post-launch iteration based on data and feedback.
  • Represent your product area internally and externally, effectively translating operational complexities into clear product decisions and compelling narratives.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience owning a product area or significant feature set end-to-end, with a tangible impact on business or customer outcomes.
  • Strong ability to independently identify problems from ambiguous or incomplete input, without relying on fully structured briefs.
  • Clear experience in making independent trade-offs across scope, quality, and technical complexity.
  • Strong technical fluency enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams on architecture, feasibility, and integration decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams and proactively identify risks.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data to define, track, and evaluate product success metrics.

Additional Skills

  • Product vision and roadmap definition
  • Problem identification and prioritization
  • Detailed product specification development
  • Engineering collaboration and technical fluency
  • End-to-end product delivery and stakeholder alignment
  • Data analysis and analytical mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in payments, fintech, or financial operations such as settlements, disputes, ledgers, treasury, or FX is a plus.

This is a full-time, remote-first position. The role requires 5-10 years of experience. The company offers a fully remote and globally distributed work environment, competitive compensation and equity options, unlimited PTO with a minimum encouraged 25 days, private medical insurance (location dependent), access to co-working spaces and global remote work opportunities, annual company meetups and in-person gatherings, a learning and development budget, and home office setup support with high-quality equipment.
