Job Objective
To develop and expand the company’s business by identifying new project opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and developers, and contributing to increasing contract volume and achieving sustainable growth for the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Continuously search for new project opportunities in the construction sector (governmental and private).
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with owners, developers, consultants, and project management firms.
• Monitor tenders and announced projects and analyze their alignment with the company’s strategy.
• Coordinate with the technical department and technical office to prepare technical and financial proposals.
• Conduct market studies and analyze competitors and market trends.
• Represent the company in meetings, exhibitions, and construction industry events.
• Negotiate with clients and participate in contract closing.
• Follow up with clients after contract award to ensure client satisfaction and continuity of business.
• Prepare periodic reports on business opportunities, contract status, and progress rates.
• Contribute to developing business development plans and achieving defined sales targets.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil / Architectural) or Business Administration or equivalent.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in business development or sales within the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of the construction market, contracting methods, and tendering processes.
• Experience in preparing technical and financial proposals (preferred).
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency in English is an added advantage.

Business Development Manager – Government Software Sales

Join SmartChoice International GCC as a Business Development Manager and play a pivotal role in driving new business across the government and semi-government sector in Saudi Arabia, focusing on selling enterprise software solutions to ministries, authorities, and public-sector organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and grow new business across government and semi-government entities in KSA.
• Sell enterprise software solutions aligned to Vision 2030, digital transformation, and compliance initiatives.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including stakeholder engagement, RFPs, tenders, and negotiations.
• Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams on proposals and bids.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently deliver against revenue targets.

Requirements:

• Proven experience selling software or technology solutions to government entities in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong understanding of KSA procurement frameworks and tender processes.
• Track record of closing complex, enterprise-level deals.
• Existing relationships within ministries, authorities, or government-linked entities preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Saudi national.

About the Position:
We are looking for a technically strong Business Development Manager to oversee our operations in Riyadh. The ideal candidate understands technical machinery, can build strong customer relationships, drive business development, and lead a sales team to achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business development plan for the Riyadh Region.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and increase market awareness of SINOTRUK products.
• Lead the full sales cycle including technical discussions, visits, quotations, negotiations, and deal closings.
• Manage and support the sales team ensuring performance and target achievement.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market insights.
• Work closely with service and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.

Essential Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong technical understanding of trucks, machinery, or heavy equipment.
• Proven experience in sales and business development within the truck/heavy equipment industry.
• People-oriented leader with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Valid KSA Driving License.
