About the Job
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Waiter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, demonstrating knowledge of menu items and daily specials
• Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant
• Stay informed about local cuisine and customs to enhance the guest experience

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a waiter in a restaurant setting
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Strong communication abilities in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Detailed understanding of food and beverage service techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
• Basic math skills for handling cash and credit transactions
• Ability to memorize menu items and daily specials
• Attention to detail in maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one
• Knowledge of local cuisine and customs is advantageous
• Adaptability to changing situations and ability to multitask efficiently

• Follow proper reporting procedures when addressing issues.
• Deliver food and beverage orders promptly and to high standards.
• Adhere to Hilton's grooming standards including dress code, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety laws.
