Role Overview:
The Barista is responsible for preparing quality beverages, offering excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and managing inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing Coffee and Beverages: Brew espresso and prepare a variety of coffee drinks including lattes, cappuccinos, and more. Make other beverages such as teas and smoothies while ensuring consistency in preparation.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders, and handle inquiries. Provide excellent service and address customer concerns professionally.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean coffee machines and other equipment. Maintain a tidy and organized work area.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and assist in organizing deliveries.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • Previous service experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail and guest needs.

At Rixos Hotels, we invite you to experience an engaging role where you will prepare beverages and provide exceptional customer service in a luxurious environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing Coffee and Beverages: Brew espresso and prepare a variety of coffee drinks (*, lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos). Make other beverages such as teas, smoothies, and cold brews. Follow recipes and maintain consistency in drink preparation.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and take their orders in a friendly and professional manner. Offer product suggestions and answer questions about the menu. Handle customer complaints and concerns with patience and professionalism. Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment to ensure proper functioning. Keep the work area, including counters, tables, and floors, tidy and organized. Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, cups, and napkins.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and alert management when supplies are running low. Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Previous service experience is an asset.
  • Ability to interact positively with customers, take orders, and provide excellent service.
  • Consistently making high-quality drinks and ensuring accuracy in orders.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Highly responsible & reliable.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
