About the Role

Endress+Hauser Group is looking for a dedicated Service Coordinator to join their team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for ensuring excellence in service planning, scheduling, and resource management, to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of Endress+Hauser Arabia's instrument services. The Service Coordinator will act as a central point of contact, managing all aspects of service delivery from initial job request to final invoicing, in collaboration with a diverse range of customers, the E+H Arabia office, and local partners.

This position involves significant operational management, including transaction processing, workflow management, site operations oversight, and contractor activity coordination. While the role offers some autonomy, it primarily focuses on executing activities within defined operational controls and adhering to standard functional practices and procedures. The Service Coordinator will significantly impact administrative operations through effective planning and execution.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide functional expertise and leadership in work planning and scheduling.
  • Coordinate resources, including field services, spare parts, tools, and equipment, to effectively complete service orders in workshops or external sites.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding services provided.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to ensure seamless service delivery and scope of work execution, coordinating with customer stakeholders to meet expectations.
  • Develop and maintain service schedules using applicable tools, processes, and standards.
  • Ensure all necessary resources are assigned and available for the execution of work orders as per the plan.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of engineers' safety passports, medical certificates, and training requirements.
  • Update schedules to accurately reflect work progress and remaining tasks, ensuring accurate records for the SAP/SMP system and database information.
  • Analyze work progress and schedule performance, identifying deviations from the plan, risks, and emerging trends that may indicate potential concerns.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate across multiple departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide regular reports and reviews of schedule progress.
  • Escalate issues or risks that are not being adequately addressed.
  • Ensure clear alignment between project costs and schedule performance.
  • Lead the timely customer invoicing process upon task completion.
  • Analyze the impact of change orders on schedule performance.
  • Provide required customer reports as per the contract.
  • Provide accurate and timely performance reports to senior management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and transformational innovation within the Services department.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specifically in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Mechanical fields, or a related specialization.
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in service coordination, planning, or operations within industrial or technical service environments is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling tools, such as SAP or similar systems.
  • Good understanding of field service operations and resource management principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are required.
