Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. (ABIS) is seeking a dedicated professional to join its team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This full-time role is integral to supporting project execution and maintaining robust documentation standards within the company's operations.
The Role of Technical Document Controller
The Technical Document Controller is responsible for the comprehensive management and maintenance of all technical documents related to various projects. This role ensures that all documentation is accurate, current, and readily accessible to relevant stakeholders. The successful candidate will coordinate closely with engineering, project management, and other departments to facilitate efficient document flow and ensure strict compliance with both company and client standards. This position is crucial for smooth project execution and for maintaining proper records essential for audit and reference purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, register, and distribute technical documents in adherence to established company document control procedures.
- Maintain the document management system, ensuring that all files are correctly archived and easily retrievable when needed.
- Coordinate effectively with project teams to ensure the timely submission and approval of all required documents.
- Ensure full compliance with specific project and client documentation standards and requirements.
- Prepare and diligently maintain accurate document logs, status reports, and comprehensive distribution lists.
- Assist in various audits and inspections pertinent to document control processes.
- Provide necessary training and ongoing support on document control procedures to team members as required.
