Position Overview

Matar Al-Baqami Holding, a prominent leader in various industrial sectors since 1977, is seeking a dedicated Weight Bridge Operator to join its team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This full-time role is integral to our logistics and operations, focusing on the precise measurement of vehicle and material weights.

Role Contribution

The Weight Bridge Operator plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with industry regulations. This involves meticulous monitoring and management of weight measurement processes for all incoming and outgoing vehicles and materials at our facilities, maintaining accurate records essential for quality control and overall operational effectiveness.

Core Responsibilities

• Operate and manage the weight bridge to accurately weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles and materials.
• Ensure correct vehicle positioning on the scale and promptly record weight measurements.
• Maintain detailed records of weight measurements, including date, time, vehicle identification, and material type.
• Coordinate with drivers and logistics personnel to assist in loading and unloading processes.
• Monitor and report any discrepancies or irregularities in weight measurements to relevant authorities.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on weight bridge equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations related to weight measurement operations.
• Provide customer service to drivers and other personnel utilizing the scale.
• Assist in generating reports for management as required, highlighting trends and discrepancies.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a Weight Bridge Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to operate weight bridge equipment and associated software effectively.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures is desirable.
