About the Role:
The Senior Accounting Officer will provide essential support to the Divisional Finance Manager and Accounting Manager. Key responsibilities include gathering and compiling accurate financial and management accounting data to ensure reporting deadlines are met.

Requirements:
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a recognized university, with 0 to 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in FMCG or Manufacturing interests. Coop and/or Tamheer experience may be considered.

The Senior Accounting Officer will provide essential support to the Divisional Finance Manager and Accounting Manager. Key responsibilities include gathering and compiling accurate financial and management accounting data to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on department cash flow activities and support financial reporting (Flash, Forecast, Budget).
- Handle payroll-related tasks, including deductions, overtime, and commissions.
- Coordinate internal, external, and management financial reporting.
- Perform accounting reconciliations (bank, stock, petty cash).
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies.
- Assist in period-end closing and audit preparation.
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly KPIs reports.
- Monitor accounting system postings, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Process vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide training and support to finance staff.
Requirements:
