Almarai is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to join its team in Al-Kharj. This full-time role involves supporting the Production Manager in overseeing daily operations within the bakery and pastry production floor.

Role Overview

The Assistant Production Manager will ensure that all production activities run smoothly and efficiently. This includes meeting the company’s established quality, safety, and productivity standards consistently. The role requires a strong understanding of high-volume manufacturing processes combined with artisanal bakery expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Production Manager in the daily oversight of bakery and pastry production operations.
• Ensure efficient and smooth execution of all production activities.
• Monitor and uphold company quality, safety, and productivity standards.
• Contribute to maintaining operational discipline in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Production Management, or Hotel Management.
• 5 to 6 years of experience as a Chef de Partie (CDP) in Bread, Pastry, Viennoiserie, and Hot & Cold Kitchen.
• Demonstrated strong experience in combining artisanal bakery expertise with manufacturing systems, controls, and performance discipline.
• High-volume artisanal bakery experience is highly preferable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.

This is a full-time position based in Al-Kharj, requiring a commitment to maintaining high standards in a dynamic production setting. The role operates within a structured manufacturing environment focused on quality and efficiency.
