About the Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Cluster Sales Manager to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time position is responsible for driving sales opportunities and fostering long-term customer relationships to achieve sales objectives within the specified region.

Role Overview

The Cluster Sales Manager will solicit and manage sales opportunities, ensuring efficient handover for service delivery. The role involves analyzing local market trends and competitor activities to recommend strategies that maintain the hotel's market leadership through the development of new and repeat business. A key focus is building value-based customer relationships to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop potential clients in specified offline segments, integrating them into sales pipelines.
  • Gain thorough knowledge of assigned accounts and their specific hospitality needs.
  • Promote all hotel products and services effectively.
  • Conduct regular sales visits to identify new accounts.
  • Understand client requirements and ensure offered products and services align with their requests.
  • Provide after-sales service recovery and ensure client feedback is taken seriously and escalated as necessary.
  • Meet and exceed top-line revenue objectives and achieve set revenue targets for respective segments.
  • Ensure cost-effective sales activities and implement yielding strategies to increase hotel profitability.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on market and competition analysis, sales activities, and sales pipelines.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience in a 5-star hotel property, preferably in a cluster role.
  • A hospitality degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera Sales.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred.
