About the Role

Intech Automation & Intelligence, a globally recognized company in industrial automation and digitalization technology, is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role is central to overseeing all field construction activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. As a Construction Superintendent, you will manage multi-discipline construction teams and contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects, particularly those involving major clients like Saudi Aramco or ADNOC, within the Industry landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct all on-site construction activities across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Monitor construction progress against the project schedule, identify potential delays, and coordinate corrective actions to maintain project milestones.
• Ensure all construction work adheres to approved drawings, project specifications, and quality management system requirements.
• Enforce all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures on-site, including conducting daily toolbox talks and ensuring safe working practices.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and construction crews, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
• Plan and manage the deployment of manpower, equipment, and materials for continuous construction execution.
• Prepare daily and weekly construction progress reports, highlighting key issues, risks, and upcoming activities.
• Coordinate with client site representatives, including Saudi Aramco and ADNOC personnel, and inspection teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of 13 to 15 years of progressive experience in construction supervision or superintendency on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.
• Significant experience working on Saudi Aramco or ADNOC projects is strongly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of diverse construction methods, industry standards, and multi-discipline interfaces.
• Proficiency in using construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Proven experience managing multi-discipline construction teams and subcontractors in both greenfield and brownfield environments.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully managing construction activities within challenging schedules and budgets.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Broad knowledge of civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation construction methods and standards.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols, permit-to-work systems, and emergency response procedures.
• Familiarity with inspection and test plans (ITPs), material traceability processes, and construction quality record-keeping.
• Working knowledge of construction contracts, variation management, and subcontractor performance tracking.
• Competency in Primavera P6 or MS Project for monitoring construction progress and detailed lookahead planning.
• Exceptional leadership abilities to guide large, multi-national construction crews and subcontractors.
• Proactive problem-solving skills to identify construction challenges and implement effective field solutions.
• Clear and effective communication skills, capable of interacting with field crews up to senior project management.
• Ability to make sound, timely decisions under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams and foster a strong culture of safety and high performance.

Additional Information

• Relevant construction management or safety certifications are considered an advantage.
