HSE Manager

About the Role

Solution Leaders Fayez Engineering is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This full-time position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience to lead and manage all aspects of Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental matters within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise and guide Senior Management on Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSE) matters.
• Promote an organizational culture that prioritizes effective HSE practices through leadership.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance regarding HSE and other regulatory issues.
• Maintain awareness, knowledge, and preparedness across the company for HSE.
• Review and update internal HSE policies and practices.
• Supervise hazard and risk assessments, developing new recommendations as needed.
• Serve as the company's HSE expert for regulatory compliance, third-party consultants, and subcontractors.
• Develop annual budget recommendations and oversee their implementation.
• Provide regular written reports and updates on HSE performance to the Senior Management Team.
• Assist project teams in investigating incidents (GL/WC/Recordable Incidents, Near Miss, First Aid) and ensure proper documentation.
• Implement corrective actions for incidents and communicate "lessons learned" throughout the company.
• Devise, supervise, and coordinate training programs to enhance safe practices and HSE consciousness.
• Participate in scheduling safety meetings across company locations to review HSE performance and policies.
• Stay informed of current and emerging technical and professional aspects of HSE.
• Assist with and participate in presentations.
• Conduct site visits and audits as required.
• Participate in industry-related conferences when requested.
• Act as an information conduit for HSE issues to management and disseminate safety information to staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Analyze technical data for trends related to hazards, events, and occurrences.

Leadership and Management

• Lead the HSE team to achieve company objectives.
• Provide technical guidance to co-workers.
• Direct, coordinate, and evaluate employees' HSE awareness and concern levels.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company's HSE Policies & Procedures.
• Propose staffing solutions and identify training and development opportunities.
• Be accountable for unit deliverables.
• Approve timesheets.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and guide senior management on HSE matters.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory compliance related to HSE.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE policies, practices, and training programs.
• Expertise in conducting hazard and risk assessments and incident investigations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a professional engineering environment, leading a dedicated HSE team, and collaborating with various departments and external stakeholders.
