About the Role

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts is seeking an IT Coordinator for its property in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This full-time position supports the hotel's technology infrastructure, ensuring efficient operation of all systems to facilitate daily operations. The role is part of the Information Technology team within the Accor network.

Role Overview

The IT Coordinator is responsible for providing technical support to hotel staff, maintaining system performance, and assisting with technology projects. The primary objective is to ensure the highest levels of reliability, security, and user satisfaction across the property's technology landscape. This role offers opportunities for development within a hospitality environment that values responsible practices and positive guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users, addressing helpdesk requests and troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
  • Monitor and maintain the hotel's technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, workstations, and peripheral devices, to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and deployment of hardware and software across the property.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, system configurations, and user access permissions.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of security protocols, including user authentication, data protection, and adherence to information security policies.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware repairs, software licensing, and technical support escalations.
  • Assist with technology projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Perform routine system backups, updates, and patches to ensure data integrity and system security.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT documentation, procedures, and knowledge base resources.
  • Support user training and onboarding for new technology systems and applications.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Zero to one year of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, System Administration, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environments, basic server administration, and network infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and IT support tools.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining data security, confidentiality, and operational reliability.
  • Experience within a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment is advantageous.
  • Experience with hospitality systems and applications is preferred.
