Musanadah - Estimation Engineer

Khalid Ali Alturki & Sons Company (Alturki Holding) is seeking an Estimation Engineer for its Musanadah division. This full-time position, based in Al Khobar, involves supporting the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for Facilities Management projects. The role is integral to ensuring successful tender submissions through detailed analysis and collaboration.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Estimation Engineer will play a key role in the pre-construction phase by analyzing project requirements and developing precise pricing models. This involves a comprehensive approach to cost estimation, working closely with various internal teams to validate assumptions and methodologies, ultimately contributing to the successful acquisition of new projects within the Facilities Management sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project scope, specifications, and tender requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings, site surveys, and technical documentation.
• Develop detailed cost breakdowns covering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with operations, technical, procurement, and finance teams to validate assumptions and methodologies.
• Assess cost risks and apply appropriate contingencies and allowances within estimates.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 0-1 years of professional experience.
• Experience within the Facilities Management industry is preferred.
