We are seeking an OT Cybersecurity Design Engineer to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This is a full-time position requiring 5-10 years of experience.

Role Overview

The OT Cybersecurity Design Engineer will be responsible for engineering, implementing, and monitoring security measures for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), their related networks, and information. This role involves defining system security requirements and designing robust cybersecurity architectures in adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures for ICS/SIS systems, networks, and information.
• Identify and define system security requirements.
• Design ICS systems security architecture and develop detailed cybersecurity designs based on standard blueprints.
• Participate in the entire software/system lifecycle, including design, documentation, installation, configuration, and testing.
• Manage System Backup technologies (*, Acronis), including installation and deployment.
• Deploy and manage End Point Security & Application Control Solutions (*, McAfee) and SIEM solutions (*, McAfee, Splunk, Q-radar).
• Implement and manage network-based firewalls (*, Fortinet, Palo Alto, CISCO, SonicWALL, Siemens) and intrusion detection products.
• Install and manage Network Management Solutions.
• Conduct firmware updates for Automation Control Systems, Switches, and Firewalls.
• Configure and deploy Domain Controller settings and policies.
• Implement host-based security technologies such as Antivirus, Data Leakage Prevention, Host IPS, Whitelisting, and Anomaly Detection.
• Perform installation, configuration, and testing activities at factory and customer sites, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Prepare comprehensive system documentation, including Functional Design Specifications, Backup Systems documentation, Firewall configurations, Network Diagrams, System Architectures, Asset Inventory, FAT and SAT procedures, and Operation & Maintenance manuals.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in OT cybersecurity design and implementation.
• Demonstrated experience with ICS/SIS systems security.
• Proficiency in managing various cybersecurity technologies and solutions.
• Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Ability to prepare detailed technical documentation.
