About the Role

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a Principal Technical Professional-Telecommunication to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves the design, specification, and service management of various communication systems. The successful candidate will apply advanced engineering techniques independently and make key decisions on engineering problems and methods.

Role Overview

This position is responsible for overseeing communication systems including satellite, line of sight, fiber optic, phone, public address systems, and data transmission from supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. The role requires a high degree of technical autonomy and the ability to represent the organization in important technical discussions and negotiations with external engineers and officials.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers within the team.
• Serve as a primary consultant for associates and others, with significant reliance placed on scientific interpretations and advice.
• Manage measurable assets, including assigned staff and budget.
• Apply advanced engineering techniques independently to resolve complex engineering problems.
• Represent the organization in conferences to address important questions or negotiate with key engineers and officials from other organizations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability to independently apply advanced engineering techniques.
• Proven decision-making capabilities regarding engineering problems and methodologies.

Work Environment
