Sales Engineer

About the Role

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a Sales Engineer to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves driving sales, promoting solutions, and providing customer service within a dynamic sales environment. The Sales Engineer will focus on understanding customer technical requirements, conducting product demonstrations, and collaborating with sales and product development teams to offer technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. The position requires strong technical knowledge in power system automation or protection, effective communication skills, and a commitment to building customer relationships. The ideal candidate must be flexible for local and international travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with SEL customers and channel partners.
• Understand customer requirements and objectives to determine, communicate, and deliver optimal SEL solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of all SEL products and educate customers on SEL technology and innovation.
• Develop, maintain, and achieve quarterly orders forecasts and sales goals.
• Collect, analyze, and report industry, competitor, and customer trends to the SEL organization.
• Collaborate to understand and resolve customer feedback and product issues.
• Liaise between customers, contracts & risk, and accounts receivable to facilitate commercial relationships.
• Utilize business tools for maintaining customer relationship information, opportunity tracking, and sales activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical knowledge in power system automation or protection.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Flexibility to travel locally and internationally.
