Role Overview

We are seeking a Sales Executive to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This is a full-time position designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience. The Sales Executive will contribute to achieving sales targets by driving new business and maintaining existing client relationships for the hotel and other IHG properties.

Core Sales Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of sales plans to achieve budget objectives.
• Sell all facets of the hotel and cross-sell other IHG Hotels & Resorts properties.
• Establish new business accounts and maintain existing ones through action plan execution.
• Convert sales leads into confirmed business.
• Handle accounts and prospects collaboratively with senior positions.
• Solicit and close business in accordance with established parameters.
• Conduct familiarizations and site inspections for potential clients.
• Maintain a regular sales call pattern.

Market Intelligence and Client Engagement

• Monitor the competitive set and communicate tactical changes to the Manager.
• Participate in conducting client interviews to understand needs.
• Monitor competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
• Build the hotel's profile and reputation within the market.
• Entertain prospects and existing key accounts to sustain and generate further sales.

Operational and Brand Support

• Report on sales activities and successes as required.
• Work in line with business requirements and attend regular meetings.
• Maintain regular contact with the IHG regional network of hotels and reservation centers.
• Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community.
• Perform other duties as assigned, potentially serving as manager-on-duty.

Required Experience
