About the Role

eXtra (United Electronics Co.) is looking for a Senior Buyer to join its commercial team. The incumbent of this position will be full-time in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Senior Buyer will play a pivotal role in managing product categories, supplier relationships, and commercial performance to drive business success.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Manage the selection of products and suppliers within assigned categories to optimize offerings and profitability.
• Plan, forecast, and report on sales performance and general commercial metrics for assigned categories.
• Control category budgets, ensuring adherence to sales, profitability, and inventory targets.
• Maintain healthy inventory turnover rates and effectively manage inventory performance to minimize holding costs and maximize availability.
• Lead supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable commercial terms, and strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and key internal stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor market trends, analyze customer demand, and track competitor activities to inform purchasing strategies.
• Coordinate and execute effective promotional and advertising initiatives to drive sales and increase brand visibility.
• Evaluate supplier performance against agreed-upon metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensure strict compliance with all purchasing policies and procedures, and business objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail purchasing.
• Strong proficiency in both Arabic and English languages.
