Urgent Hiring: Branch Accountant

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (mandatory).
• Certification: SOCPA required.
• 3+ years in accounting or finance, preferably within an FMCG or branch-based distribution environment.
• Proficiency in MS Dynamics 365, Excel, and financial reporting.
• Excellent knowledge of Accounting principles, reconciliation, and internal control practices.
• Languages: English required.

Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions, collections, and branch expenses in MS Dynamics 365.
• Prepare and reconcile branch-level accounts (cash, AR, AP, and inventory).
• Ensure timely submission of branch financial reports and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with Sales and Logistics for billing, collection, and inventory verification.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Liaise with auditors and the head office finance team during audits and reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage retail sales representatives across assigned regions.
• Handle and develop cash & key accounts within the food and FMCG sector.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Build strong relationships with key retail customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
• Implement weekly sales promotions.
• Ensure full product availability, proper merchandising, and brand visibility.
• Prepare sales reports and performance analysis for management.
• Coordinate with operations, logistics, and finance departments.
• Ensure collection of outstanding payments in accordance with company policies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in retail sales within the food or FMCG industry.
• Proven experience in cash sales & key account management.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate branch teams.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Fluency in Arabic; English is a strong advantage.
