About the Contract Admin Lead Role

Egis, a global leader in architectural, consulting, construction engineering, operations, and mobility services, is seeking an experienced Contract Admin Lead to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing contract administration processes and managing a team of contract professionals to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Contract Admin Lead will be responsible for the comprehensive management of contracts throughout their lifecycle. This includes developing and implementing contract management policies, reviewing and approving contracts, and ensuring adherence to organizational objectives and risk mitigation strategies. The role requires close coordination with internal departments such as finance, legal, procurement, and operations to ensure all contractual obligations are met.

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor the contract administration team.
  • Develop and implement contract management policies, procedures, and templates.
  • Review, analyze, and approve contracts for legal compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and renewal.
  • Maintain comprehensive contract databases and documentation systems.
  • Identify and assess potential contract risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract requirements are met.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, tracking milestones and deliverables.
  • Prepare regular reports and analytics on contract status and performance.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with external parties.
  • Ensure all contracts adhere to Saudi Arabian regulations and local business requirements.
  • Resolve contract disputes and manage amendments or modifications.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position must possess a strong background in contract administration. The role requires demonstrated leadership capabilities and a thorough understanding of contract law and risk management principles. Proficiency in contract management software and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

  • A minimum of 12+ years of experience in contract administration.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Proven expertise in contract management, including drafting, negotiation, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency with contract management software and database systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant business applications.
  • Experience with vendor and supplier management.
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes and financial management.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
