As an Optician you will work as part of a team delivering total satisfaction to our customers through conducting thorough eye examinations and aftercare. You’ll offer our customers recommendations to the highest professional and ethical standards. You will use your knowledge to effectively identify customer needs and recommend eyewear and eye care solutions accordingly.

In addition you will act as an ambassador for RETAIL BANNER, ensuring every customer is welcomed into the store and to ensure their expectations are exceeded throughout the customer experience. You’ll get to perform almost all store functions including opening and closing, merchandising and of course selling. As a Luxottica ambassador you will understand and bring to life the Luxottica characteristics and the Oliver Peoples culture.

Major duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
• Coach assistants to consistently deliver effective selling behaviours resulting in high customer engagement
• Examine eyes of patients of all ages in accordance with the local guidelines
• Issue prescriptions for spectacles or contact lenses (if available)
• Offer help and advice for patients choosing frames and lenses
• Liaise with other medical practitioners
• Meet sales targets with regard to selling spectacles & contact lenses

And have

• Minimum of 1 year experience and in the possession of an optical diploma
• Written and verbal communication skills in English

• Lead and execute design projects from concept to final delivery.
• Develop innovative creative concepts for campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Maintain and evolve brand identity standards and design systems.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level designers.
• Translate business objectives into compelling visual solutions.
• Present and defend design concepts to internal teams and clients.
• Manage multiple high-priority projects while maintaining quality standards.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional graphic design experience.
• Proven track record of leading successful design projects and campaigns.
• Strong professional portfolio demonstrating creative excellence.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Advanced experience in UI/UX design and prototyping.
• Advanced motion graphics and video editing skills.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and marketing fundamentals.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
