About the Role

Alfanar Projects is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Dammam, Southern Region. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience. The primary purpose of this role is to plan, control, and monitor the execution of electrical-related project tasks efficiently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards as per defined policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform erection, testing, and commissioning of Power/Distribution transformers at site and factory.
• Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing of power/distribution transformers.
• Inspect transformers upon arrival and perform necessary tests.
• Verify the availability of all accessories for the transformer.
• Check impact recorders and collect data.
• Assess requirements for cranes or other equipment for transformer assembly or disassembly at sites/factory.
• Perform routine electrical tests of transformers in the factory and at site according to International standards.
• Conduct low voltage electrical tests at the site.
• Plan day-to-day site activities for timely job completion.
• Execute the erection of transformer accessories, vacuuming, and oil filtration as per quality procedures.
• Perform in-process testing of transformers during various stages of repair/manufacturing.
• Coordinate with marketing, planning, and customers for gate passes/work permits required for job execution.
• Ensure best practices are followed for testing Power and Distribution transformers.

Role Accountabilities

• HR Proficiency: Train subordinates, build effective teams, provide leadership, coaching, and direction, delegate assignments, and ensure fair task distribution to maintain morale.
• Delivery: Execute planned activities to meet operational and development targets, utilize resources effectively, and provide periodic reports on deviations and task execution.
• Problem-Solving: Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
• Quality: Ensure adherence to quality requirements, develop effective quality control processes, and establish specifications for products or activities.
• Business Process Improvement: Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
• Compliance: Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management procedures within the defined work area.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, control, and monitor project tasks.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, particularly transformers.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, requiring on-site presence for erection, testing, and commissioning activities at both factory and project locations.
