About the Role

FNRCO is seeking a Gate Clerk to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role is essential for managing the entry and exit of containers and flatbeds at the terminal, ensuring smooth operational flow and adherence to established procedures. The position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute requirements of the Terminal Handling Department.
• Input shipping pre-advice into the system.
• Regulate the entry and exit of trucks with containers/flatbeds at the terminal.
• Prepare manifest details for various shipping lines for port shuttling using the Softpak system.
• Control the issuance of containers based on release orders from shipping lines, utilizing Softpak.
• Issue Equipment Interchange Receipts (EIR) for container acceptance and release via the Softpak system.
• Support and monitor KTS transport movements, including containers, reefers, and tanks.

Principal Duties

• Enter shipping line pre-advice lists into the system.
• Accurately identify shipping lines from port EIRs.
• Input inspected container checklist information into the system to issue EIRs.
• Manage and control the release of empty containers for various shipping lines.
• Prepare and control manifest details for port shuttling for multiple shipping lines.

Compliance and Safety

• Adhere to procedures and instructions outlined in the ISO 9001:2000 manual and report any deviations for corrective action.
• Comply with all company rules and regulations.
• Implement HSSE Standards.
• Ensure all personnel in the operational area wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Strictly follow Man-free Depot Standards and relevant Global Minimum Requirement standards.
• Contribute to achieving a zero Loss Time Injury record for the company.
• Ensure personnel in the inspection area do not violate safety guidelines within the gate.
• Report unsafe acts/conditions, near misses, incidents, and safety violations immediately to the HSSE Department.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in using the Softpak system.
• Ability to follow established procedures and instructions accurately.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, requiring active participation in terminal operations and strict adherence to safety and operational protocols.
